Spanky. By the way, that reminds me that I need to pull out a copy of a Little Rascals tape that Spanky's mom gave me. Really. When I was in Graduate school in Dallas in the early nineties Spanky's mom was my next door neighbor. She had an amazing dining room full of pictures. She idolized Spanky. I actually met him one time when he came over to fix his mom's gate to her fence. He was pretty nice; but didn't come over to his mom's much. I think he stayed busy playing in golf tournaments. Michael Jackson came to Dallas one time and stayed over at his place. I remember Spanky's mom telling me about it because she got to go meet Michael. My other neighbor got Michael's autograph. I wasn't interested. Anyway it was Spanky's sister that came over all the time to take care of his mom. After Spanky passed away in the late nineties his mom soon passed away too.

Spanky because he was so mischievous and could be
so innocent in a bad situation. Yes, it does make you
want to go out and rent the Little Rascals.
