I am 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have an appointment for my first scan on Monday. The thing is... I am starting to show already! Is this normal? Could I be further along than I expected? Could there be more than one baby? LOL Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Bailey.... I KNOW who the father of my baby is. Where did that come from anyway? I didnt say anything about being unsure who the father is!!

Could be anything .... most likely a miscalculation .... or you're going to give birth to an elephant .... ( I hope it's a miscalculation for your sake ...lol)

You could be further along, but most small women don't show to at least 15 weeks, could your dating have been off by 5 weeks. Multiples seems possible, has the doc mentioned hearing competing heartbeates (deosn't mean a no if not) Also, if you are not in great shape or have weak abs this may be the reason. When you show has alot to do w/ ab strength. I work out 7 days a week 5 days when pregnant, Most people could never tell I was pregnant w/ my pregnancys I just looked a bit chuncky around the middle @ 9 months. Also ask yor mom how big she was w/ you genetics make up alot! If she got huge you prob. will too!

I am about 9 1/2 weeks and my belly popped out a but after 7 weeks, I have gained about 4 pounds and it is all belly.

Everyone is different and when you start to show depends on your build, the strength of your abdominal muscles and other factors as well. Some women start to show early and some don't but I wouldn't worry about that. Good luck.

Hey I've been showing since 4 weeks. Apparently its water retention etc but I do look 4 months pregnant (I'm only nine weeks now!).
Some people just show early, especially if they are thin!

never has this happened to me. don't get yourself all upset wait to see what happens at the drs. it could be your just gaining much weight better yet you could be having twins either way you'll be fine. you just stay stress free and have a healthy baby. unless now your not sure of the father? but even at that you still need to stay stress free it's better for the baby.

yes my sister in law was bigger than normal and found out she was expecting twins u should go to your doctor about it and he or she will send you for a scan to see if it is GOODLUCK and congrats.
