Yes I have, and I'm gay. But my orientation has nothing to do with is work.
Frankly, I don't like his stuff. As a conceptual architect, sometimes working with a site to bring about the best building (ie Falling Water) and including built-in items I think he was genius. However, as an engineer, a failure.
Falling Water is falling apart. Its cantilever section is too heavy and had to have some major reconstruction work to keep it from falling into the water. Arizona State University's Gammage Auditorium was designed by him and its acoustics are AWFUL. Marin County Hall in CA was also designed by him (very similar in style to Gammage) and doesn't flow very well with people's traffic patterns.

Sure. I don't really care for it but he was an amazing architect. There are a couple of homes that were comissioned through Frank Lloyd Wright in the Heritage Hill historic district in Grand Rapids, MI. One is the Myer May home.
Also, the tall, Price Tower building in Bartlesville, OK is Frank Lloyd Wright design. I think this might be a hotel or an Arts Center now but it was empty when I saw it.
I have pasted the link to the Meyer May home in Grand Rapids. There are a couple of pictures of it on this site. Enjoy.

I live in Chicago, his work is EVERYWHERE!
His family home is in Oak Park, Il...and near west suburb of Chicago.
There are homes all over the city and suburbs that were designed or inspired by his work.
I like his homes, I Don't care for his furnature. It's too cold, hard, stiff...for my taste.
My cousin is an architect in Chicago, he adores Wright's work and designed a Coach House for Penny Marshall (yes, the actress) that is Wright inspired.

Yes, I've studied his work, own quite a few reference books about it. Falling Water is my favorite house. In Springfield Ill, there is the Dana Thomas House which has been restored and they give tours. In Chicago there is a whole neighborhood called Oak Park (I believe, please correct if not right).
I am drawn to his work because many of the components of the "prairie" homes are things I see in my own neighborhood of arts and crafts homes. However I am draw to Falling Water because of his blending of the house and nature, and it always appears nature has the upper hand. Something we forget as humans.

I love his homes and furnishings.
I've visited many of the buildings (even went to a Dr here because he's in a FLW building) Have visited Taliesin and Taliesin West.
I've also restored a non Wright but prairie style home and enjoyed it immensely.

Falling waters, a little north of Ohio Pyle in PA. It's not really that impressive of an architectural feat, especially considering the budget, but it makes for a nice afternoon activity.

Yes, I love his style of architecture! There's Talisian West, which is the place to go, near Scottsdale, Arizona, the Robie House on the University of Chicago campus, his studio in Oak Oark, Illinois, Parkwyn Village in Kalamazoo, Michigan. My personal favorite is Fallingwater in Pennsylvania. Check it out at www.paconserve.org and it will amaze you! I have been to all of them.
