I have a motorola V3i phone. I would like to be able to leave my bluetooth on in pubs to get stuff sent to me, but my bluetooth is only on for 60 seconds at a time (discoverable for 60 seconds). Can I change it so it is always on? Or at least, on for longer?

Is it possible to 'bluejack'? I have never heard of it.

That sounds a bit dodgy (leaving it always on that is) - someone could highjack or 'blujack' your phone & make premium rate calls at your expense.

EDIT: It probably won't happen...but it was demonstrated on the TV programme 'The Real Hustle'. They had a laptop with blutooth & stood in a public place (a London station I think). They had a program on the laptop that found any nearby blutooth connections & then used someone elses phone without their knowledge.

i think that's possible...but not advisable because it's the most likely way of getting vira onto ur phone and then u'd wish it were on for just 60 seconds instead (even wish it were not on in d 1st place).

anyway, go to settings>bluetooth>switch on (won't be in that sequence but should be something like that, my bro'er's girlfriend sold hers few months ago so i can't really remember d nitty gritty of d phone). happy wireless transferring. try d cinemas,u'll get tons of stuff (ok,i'm guilty of doin' that when i go to d cinemas and malls,what!!!)...cheers.

the 60sec is for the phone to be discoverable by other device, for a longer time you have to change the connectivity setting to always on.
