What is your opinion of the whole world becoming one nation with one federal government managing the whole of humankind?

Its happening in a way,
think of the EU.
Here in the middle east,GCC more specifically,they are also moving towards a common currency and more unification.
there are more examples of this.....

That's kind of a tricky question. I thought the United states were 50 different states independent in a way. I think the only ones who would want this are the ones who are going to be in power, since I bet they will prosper the most from it and all the others will loose.

It would be a dismal failure (and in short order). President Woodrow Wilson tried this with his League Of Nations...we wound up fighting WW1.

There's too many cultural differences, too much centrism, societies in conflict (look at the Islamic world opposing the Christian world).

It would fall flat on its face in six months.
