I've cut my finger off, its only the tip of the little one, just after the last joint. I hate hospitals can I sow in on at home, will superglue work? I have a small metal rod and a drill, I was going to drill up the bone and insert the rod and glue it there. My wife is just washing the rod now so it'll be clean. A rapid response would be really appreciated.

YES! Put it back on. Cutting your finger off is manly. Being able to glue/stitch it back on is manlier still. God, you should have your own TV show.

Go knows why I answer these sort of questions. Do nothing. let it bleed and have it teach you a lesson.

And no, do no glue it back on. If you really don't want medial help squeeze the finger so that the blood stops. Heat the metal rod and burn the tip so that the flesh with burn and sease to bleed and puss.

Put your finegr in cool water and follow with herbs/antiseptic wipe whatever you want just to keep it clean.

Wrap it leave it clean. It'll hurt but that's your problem.

I know you hate hospitals but are you some kind of moron? Not being funny but sewing at home is with thread and in hospital its nylon.....only takes a few mins. Metal rod with infect your finger and gangrene will set in so finger will be lost altogether, superglue will infect the open tissues and therefore same will happen. Be a man and get to hospital!!!

Losing sensation in the finger is pretty common with deep injuries of the finger. I'm not too certain as to whether a surgeon will be able to restore the nerve function, but I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just make sure you get to a doctor as soon as possible to prevent infection.

Your presented effort will not work out. infection may already entered your system(how in the heck did you manage to do that anyway. Here is what you do- quickly smoke a very large mambo and chug down some JD, then have your wife put a butter knife over fire till red hot, using an oven mitt wipe off soot. then when you are toasted she can slap the hot iron to the finger to cauterizing the wound. You may as well be called pinkie from now on.

There are less horrors waiting for you at the hospital than the ones that you're about to inflict on yourself. Pack the finger in ice and take it with you, if it can be saved, the hospital will save it.
Congratulations on typing this with only nine fingers, I do hope you didn't get too much blood on the keyboard, I also hope you don't electrocute yourself if the blood gets into the computer.

I think that would be fine. But i would say try not to chop your leg off in the same way. As this metal rod idea may not be to good for bigger joints and such like. Let us know how it goes, after all it worked for Dr Frankenstein

are you flaming kidding. get to the bloody hospital asshole. when I was three, I had all the tips of my fingers mangled with a wringer, they used wringers in those days for the clothes. They were sewn back on , I still have the scars, and one is slightly bent, but where are you coming from. If you do not get the fresh finger tip there within hours, you will just have a stump for the rest of your life, you are a stupid person

Staples work best with super glue. That is the best I have found. The only piece of equipment is a belt sander to try to smooth the rough edges where the staples and super glue have left rough spots.

Am not at all sure you are serious- I hope not! Do not insert foreign objects into your finger- your body will reject them and you will have more problems than you started with as it will probably get infected. The hospital will take longer to repair your diy efforts then, than if you let them sort it out as it is.

very funny, not. If you do that it will just rot off anyway. Put the tip on ice and take it to the hospital. If you are serious, which I doubt, steralize a needle and thread at home and use that. Anything you do yourself will heart more than any hospital.
