In my first trimester I was miserable, I spent all day extremely nauseous and uncomfortable, then around 12 weeks it all went away. I got my energy back and I wasnt sick anymore! I am 15 weeks now and the last few days I have been nauseous again, not as bad as in the beginning but enough to bother me. Is this supposed to happen? Do you think this is just something weird that will go away? I am not extremely concerned about it I just want to know if this has happened to anyone else and if it will probably go away again.

Also I forgot to mention, I have been getting bad headaches like I have never expierienced before. I take tylenol but its not helping much. Is this a part of it?

Wow, I know how you feel!
I'm 17 1/2 weeks now, and had horrible morning sickness through the whole first trimester. It stopped - sort of....but I still get really nauseous now if I start to get hungry, or if I get in the car...(unless I'm driving) I don't think it's just regular motion sickness cause I've never had that before in my life, only since I got pregnant.
I think the trick for that (at least for me, unfortunately everyone's different...) is to never have a completely empty stomach. Instead of eating regular meals, I tend to snack, just eat a little bit at a time, all day long. It seems to help me a little.
As for the headaches, that, apparently, is a normal pregnancy symptom, and as far as I know, there's not much you can do about it. One thing that seems to help though is to drink lots of water - never let yourself even start to get dehydrated.
My GP told me that all this stuff is just your body telling you what it needs to keep your baby healthy & safe, so you should always try to listen to your symptoms and do what they're telling you.
Congratulations & good luck, Hope you're feeling better real soon!

This happened too me too. The first trimester was a killer for me because I was so sick and it was not getting better at all. I was having thoughts of having an abortion, this is how bad it was. But it went away towards the beginning of my second trimester. However, it came right back and I was so disappointed.

I also had those migrane headaches oh MY God,,, I thought that I was dying. The good news is that it will go away, I am 36 weeks today and I feel alot better. Don't worry, if you ae getting sick this means that you are having a healthy pregnancy. Good Luck to you... and congratulations.....

I have the same thing going on with me. Im 19 weeks pregnant and I had extreme nausea and horrible fatigue like body aches since i was 6 weeks along. When I got to about 15 weeks it seemed like I was starting to get a little better, and I was telling people I was feeling slightly better too. But then last week I started getting really sick again. Its terrible. Not to mention the horrible pounding headaches I get too. Its really bad. This is my 4th pregnancy and I have never been sick this long before. But I guess each pregnancy is different and this was is horrible. I know exactly how your feeling. Hope it goes away for you soon.

you could be getting the flu, or you could just be getting morning sickness. I'm 27 weeks, and I had a good 6 weeks of no morning sickeness, and now it is back! Headaches are also a part of it all! Make sure you keep yourself hydrated!

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or
neck. Headaches can becaused by minor problems like
eyestrain, lack of coffee or moreserious reasons like
head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis andmeningitis.
Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side

Oh yes, the headaches. Fun arent they? I wouldnt keep taking the pain killers if they dont help, that definately sounds pregnancy related to me. Could the sickness be down to something else? Something youve eaten maybe?

I'm currently nine weeks pregnant with my second and going through the morning sickness now- blah:( BUT, with my first little bundle, it had completely stopped and a few weeks later...Mother's Day rolls around and it started back up that day. I figured that was the only thing he could give me, so....
Nice gift:)

It could be a stomach virus. With my first pregnancy I got a stomach virus around 16 weeks and couldn't keep anything down. The doctor I was seeing almost put me on iv. Good luck.
