I usually kick some doors and bang some walls until I calm down.

If you were really mad at that time, you would have blown off but since you didn't, it means you have a mild temper. The best way is to either keep quiet or walk away or do both. When you've cooled down, you would be able to tell the person to back off.

Walk away, count to 10, whatever it takes to stay in control. A lot of things and people are going to make you mad in life and you need to learn how to control your anger or it could end up getting you into trouble. Ask yourself if it's really worth it to lose your temper and make a big deal over it. Choose your battles wisely.

no one has a worst temper than me (except my mum) and now I just turn around and walk away. I don't get involved in arguments at all, I just leave it, and walk away and go somewhere quiet to calm down. Then when I have calmed down and thought about the situation, I am better equipped to handle the situation better. It took me a long time to understand that, but it works.

Forget that thing... Do things that can forget your problems.. Be happy always, don't be mad, it can make you ugly.. Oops.. peace !!! I'm just joking... Take a deep breath and when exhaling, scream how loud it can be possible. Sing a happy song.. Also pray to God. he will cast away our sadness, temptations also temper. Don't forget God. He is always guiding us. Remember, after the darkness, there will be a light which will set you free....

just try to relax as much as possible and breathe... maybe try counting to 10 softly if that helps... but if someone is shouting at you or fighting with you the best thing to do is just keep quiet.. no matter how mad you get... and either walk away or wait til they done then calmly say your say or leave.
i've learnt that the best weapon is silence. when they shouting and fighting, if you shout or fight back it will just give them more reason to carry on so keep quiet and they will run out of things to say.. besides people aren't scared of those with loud mouths coz they tel you they will do something to you when they wont.. its those who are quiet that are scarier coz you never know what that person can do...
anyway just relax and dont react to what was said rather wait til you home and vent your anger on your pillow or something

leave or just not talk to the person. If you are not around each other you cannot argue. Of course you may get picked on for walking away but it is better than getting in trouble.

I think that the question you just asked is a very good question. I think it depends on who you ask. Some might see it one way while others might see it the other way. If i had to answer, i would say that i like to go out and get a breath of fresh air
try to take my mind of the subject matter.

Walk away from the situation. Do not let your anger cause you to do wrong. Think of the benefits of controlling your anger - It shows maturity, it takes real courage to walk away, its the best defence in a bad situation. Also think of the 'what ifs'. Walk away and walk your mind away too!!!
