If you have a working holiday Visa to work and live in the UK are you able to travel to France without a schengen Visa or not?

Nope....it is the schenigen visa that allows you access to other European countries

You will need a visa to get to France. It does not have to be a schengen visa but you will need a visa. A schengen visa simply allows you to travel to all schengen countries so it may be worth applying for one. I think you will need to specify when you apply for your French visa.

The UK is not party to the Schengen agreement.

I wish people wouldn`t try to break rules, you need a visa for a good reason.
