I'm from Republic of Macedonia, but the geographic region of Macedonia is much more bigger. There are much more Macedonians around and all of them are kind, smart and cosmopolitan. I strongly believe that there will be a day when the spitting and denying as it is now, will stop. Some people in Greece thinks there are Macedonians on both sides of the border, but speaking different language. Who knows, could be possible?

What do you exactly mean ?
Are you trying to find a greek from Macedonia to tell you about your country?(which is your country then and why specific the opinion of a macedonian?)
Or do you come from Macedonia,Greece and you ask someone else to tell you his opinion about Greece?
It is a little bit complicated as you are asking it!

I can see that your name is Mirjana Cvetkovska, so I presume that you are from ex Yugoslav Republic Macedonia, with capital city Skopje!
I am from Serbia!
But you put your question in Greece category, so I don't know if you maybe mean on Macedonia as a part of Greece with Thessaloniki as a capital of that part!
Anyway I visited both, but I like Former Yugoslavian Macedonia more, because we used to belong to the same country!

For me Macedonia is the most beautiful part of Greece,indeed!

I have a lot of relatives in Thessaloniki and friends to Drama and Kavala.Makedonia is excellent as all the rest of Greece.
There are perfect seas and beaches in Chalkidiki,high mountains for skiing the winter(Pisoderi close to Florina),a very beautiful capital by the Aegean sea Thessaloniki(great night life , a lot of young people),very rich towns as Siatista in Kozani, archeological interest( Vergina close to Veroia where you can see the monuments from Alexander the Great's family),mountain Olympus which is the highest mountain in Greece(where ancient gods where used to live) and many other places,as Edessa (a town with great and beautiful waterfalls),Kavala (with its great medieval castle by the Aegean sea, Kavala is known as "the monte carlo" of Greece).
Macedonia is a great place to visit if someone comes in Greece.It is one of the most beautiful parts of Greece(maybe is the most beautiful of all)

When you mention Macedonia do you refer to the Greek province or the country known as FYROM?
I have been to Greece but did not travel further.

i have been there, the town is nice not alot going on there the country is still very underdeveloped i the lake area is nice for a holiday
