I agree with you 100 percent....I have a 6 y/o girl that told me that they may ban recess or make it so that the girls and boys are totally separated at recess. I think you will agree that is TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR. That is when Children are developing their social skills and banning recess or making it separated will screw our children up more than they already will be because of the way the world is turning out to be today.

Recess, is next, my friends! Or did the PC parents ALREADY ban recess?

SSHHHEEESSHHHH! Yeah, WTF is right!! On one hand, the Surgeon General is declaring war on childhood obesity, the next, the PC parents want dodge ball and tag banned. What are they going to do with all the obese kids, give them gastric bypass surgery between classes?

These activities NEVER did we children wrong when we grew up. OK, there were some skinned knees and elbows on occasion, but that's to be expected. We cried for a time, had Mercurochrome dabbed gingerly on the scrapes and off we went to another adventure! We grew up OK - no brain damage in my family!

Pretty soon kids will attend school in protective bubbles, like the Bubble Boy - don't laugh, we're headed that way now!

Totally agree and I think we can thank our legal systems for the current stupidity that everyone is currently going through as they (lawyers) are the ones who are taking these ridiculous claims of supposed neglect through the court system and creating such a big fear about being sued for the most stupid of things,I wonder just how long it will be before some over cautious litigation mad parent sues Sony for their little Jimmy getting a sprained finger whilst playing their PS2 system. Remember when your parents bought you a skate board you would go riding it off down the footpath and fall off scratch and bruise yourself maybe if you were unlucky break something and it would be called an accident, no one would really care to lay blame on someone by saying that they were responsible for putting wheels on it that rotated to fast, more often your old man would say to stop crying and get back on and go have some fun, I think we all need to step back and take a good look at what we are teaching our kids and just let them have a bit of fun without trying to sue someone every time they bump something kids are pretty resilient little tike's I should know I remember being one.

Banning has exchange into an elementary blanket for sections of society to throw on behaviors 'they' dont want to handle. a sturdy occasion is the two -13 year previous boys who're now substantial intercourse criminal criminals by way of fact they slapped 'x ' amt of ladies on the butt. The jerks who addressed this subject from the instructor/useful/police have ruined those boys lives. No, it quite is not suitable habit... particular, it became happening while i became at college and to the main suitable of my expertise, on no account stopped. notwithstanding, i will bear in recommendations detention, suspension for 3 days, apologies etc for the childs irrelevant behaviors or undesirable possibilities. they're 13, an age for gaining knowledge of no longer tossing away. in step with risk... we could continually ban toddlers??? each physique seems so hung up on the 'politically wonderful' element. If the mum and dad might stay OUT OF youngsters corporation AND shop toddlers OUT OFADULT corporation, lots of this way of banning may be pointless. The strains of obstacles have began to look greater like speghetti than a boundary line. toddlers could nicely be merciless with chants such as you describe. notwithstanding, except one toddler is being singled out and taunted by maximum individuals, useful training can come of a few teasing. it is the place the pitcher will shape up do to rigidity or learn how to declare howdy ~ come on out right here and do a greater suitable interest and the interest is yours, i'm going to purpose a various place. Coping skills and international family could nicely be discovered. Social behaviors could nicely be 'examined'. notwithstanding I do think of it is escential THE coach shop his gamers in sturdy sportsmanship or bench them. The greater beneficial the chief, the greater beneficial the followers. Oh, yea, banning. we want that why?

If you remember the old game, Red Rover-Red Rover Please Come Over....This was one of the first games taken out of many schools when some little boy and some little girl collided and were hurt pretty bad. They will continue to take sports or games out of schools because unlike when I was growing up parents now blame the school and the city for the actions of their children. This is only going to worsen the Activeness of the children to come, and also the attribute to stinting their imaginations.
