I've noticed that a lot of my controversial, yet acceptable questions have been removed

Actually, my current observations would be that people use freedom of expression to cause harm and to offend others.

In a modern system, any freedom is a privilege that implies the respect of others. Since it's obviously not the case, that's why the legal system has to find a way to at least improve the situation.

Just think of the 100s of new viruses and 1000s of new spywares created each month, on top of the billions of SPAM messages to understand that something really needs to be done.

I'm not saying I am pro censure and similar approaches, but if you have a better option you should share it because I don't see many ways everyone could continue doing whatever they want without others suffering from it.

Note: If you break a rule with what you're saying, this is not a freedom of speech issue! Like I said, it is a privilege that supposes you respect the laws and regulation. If a rule says not to SPAM and you do, you're actually causing harm to the system in place and to others' freedom, which is why it can not be accepted!

Freedom of Speech is about an indidviduals right to speak out against their government without fear of reprisal; thats being shot, tortured or thrown in jail.
Having your posts removed from a private forum - it belongs to Yahoo- is not the same thing. There are rules about what you can and can't say and bottom line is if Yahoo don't like it they'll remove it.
Remember this is the company that gave the details of dissidents to the Chinese govt? That supports the end of network neutrality? They are running a business.

Yes, I do. It will become more and more difficult to express our views on the internet, just as it is more and more difficult to protest without our freedom of speech coming into question now. I live in the US, and feel for those in other countries who don't have the freedom of speech we have, although i feel ours is under more scrutiny as we speak.

Yes, DEFINITELY. There is often no Freedom of Speech if you're not aligned with the liberal agenda. The only way liberals can hope to win is by underhanded tactics, lying or oppression of truthful speech.
