Well, that's the season over. Five productions, all fantastically received. Sad to part but remembering this happening will gladden their hearts. Our stage was steeply sloped, what we call the tilt, and I had to throw a tennis ball to the actor at the back. One night he missed it and the momentum caused by the tilt shot the ball to the feet of the front row. Quick as a flash I called out "May we please have our ball back.?" The house erupted with applause and there was an almighty scramble by the front row to be the one to oblige. Happy days (Mostly nights, actually)

Was that the wittiest thing you could come up with "Can we have our ball back"? Spotlight, I don't believe you - you're funnier than that.

Are you doing Panto this year, by the way?

you're asking a hypothetical question... so, does that really count as a "question" on yahoo questions & answers?
