I wanted to hear inspiring true stories where u believed and it happened... I wanted to encourage a friend of mine (as well as myself) to think more positive thoughts because he is sort of losing hope with his problems and I want him to expect only the best, not the worse out of this. Thanks!

I'm telling u the story of my life... four years back after completing my higher-secondary education, I took admission in Presidency College (which is one of the most prestigeous college in our city). But to be true enough, I was more interested in studying medical science to be a doctor. So I appeared to Joint Entrance Exams (both Medical & Engineering) in the next year, with my all possible efforts. I don't know u'll believe me or not, I concentrated all my energies 'n thoughts in preparing myself for medical-entrance. But unfortunately, I couldn't clear it at the end... 'n to my utter surprise, I ranked high in Engineering-entrance. Then I left Presidency 'n went for Engineering, now I'm in 3rd. year. I clearly remember when I couldn't clear medical-entrance, my parents treated me just like a burden or liability in their life, my friends laughed at me since I lost one year dreaming to be a doctor 'n failed finally ... I had to face a hard time then. It was the time when I made my mind strong enough to face all odds, I felt like living a hopeless life. Everybody started to underestimate me ... the only reason was that I had lost one year. But I didn't give up, I'm an optimist, positive thinking & hope kept me still alive then, I didn't forget to have faith on myself. I tried again 'n stood third in first semester exams in Engg. Then all again started to forget about my past ... (now I'm getting on lows again, I got good ranks in previous 3 sem-exams, 4th. sem got bad, rank got lowered, but I do always think positive, positive thinking gives u confidence, I'm looking forward for 5th. sem exam's success). Tell ur friend that Sir Isaac Newton also went through depressions, but it was only positive-thinking 'n his continuous efforts that made him a genius.

I've been struggling with things from my past for years and I have only in this last 12-18 months accepted what has happened.

Positive thinking has helped me an awful lot and I would recommend it to anyone. I tell myself that I am not to blame for anything that happened to me when I was a child, that I deseve to be happy and succesful and I am much happier. For years I told myself it was my fault and why should I be entitled to being happy and safe and I genuinely believed this.

Now I take the bull by the horns and just do it and I'm starting to feel great about myself and my life.

Paul McKenna, Change your life in 7 days is all about reprogramming your mind and is fantastic, it works. Also Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is the same, about changing the way your mind deals with issues.

Positive thinking has more power than you would think, so why not do it just because it makes you feel so good?

yeah! It is always said that "positive thinking leads to positive actions".If you think positive there will be no fear in your mind but if your thinking is only negetive then your actions will be always negetive and there will be a fear in your mind of being failed, but faliure is life...accept it ,all U can do is think POSITIVE.
