I answered a question last night. and whilst I was checking out a site from someone else on the same question. DO NOT ENTER THIS SITE, it has numerous malware, spybots, viruses, Trojans. I managed to get rid of them off my system, but it left behind a warning which still played havoc with my system. I tried everything to get rid of this, to no-avail. In the end I ended up having to run my system recovery CD and re-install everything. No answers required, I just wanted to warn other Yahoo Answer Users.

Thanks for the warning. No anti-virus or any security software can guarantee you won't get any malware in 100%. Avoid going into these sites are the best way to prevent getting malwares.
Once you have any kind of virus, worms, or trojans, it's recommend that you reformat windows, because these virus, worms and trojans can go anywhere, some of them may can not be removed. Even you removed it, it will probably come again easily.

Thanks and good luck.

A lesson to everyone. Sorry to hear this there are some nasty people out there. If you have antivirus installed maybe change it for avast (www.avast.com) The reason i say this because if you goto think kind of website it will stop you unless you accept the warning. Also install firefox 2 from www.mozilla.org as this can stop things like this kind of thing happening as well

Regards

Rob

By the site name, it looks like you visited a crack site. Don't visit software crack sites because some of them will try to download a malicious activeX control.
You can classify crack sites in the same category as porn sites -high risk.

For this site, unless you're using a proxy which masks your IP address, you shouldn't click on any people's links, or e-mail them if they provide an e-mail address.
Only click on links if they seem harmless, like if they go to a hardware manufacturer's web site or something like that. Don't click on links from question posters if the question goes like, 'I know a way to make money on the Internet!'
Only communicate with people through Yahoo!, and don't share files with them unless you're using a proxy.

Thank you for the information.
I don't know if you can get a hold of a program called deep freeze.
Any thing that is installed or viruses that are on your computer after installation of this program all you have to do is restart your computer and it will all be gone. Your computer will be just like it was when you first installed the program.

Generally, it isn't a good idea to just cruise different crack and warez sites. You will get viruses.
