I think for me it was when I found out my father killed himself. I was 6.

When I was married, 20 years old, with 3 children ages 3,2,1 and 6 months pregnant with our 4th. (he wanted a big family). Our electric got turned off by REMC for 120.00. It was the middle of July in 1983. My husband was so tired of living with no electric he tried to connect himself until we had the money and was electrocuted by 7200 volts. We were so dumb as young adults, if I knew then what I do now. This event changes so much in so many peoples lives.

June 27th, 1998 was the worst day of my life cause that's when my 17 year old son died from an overdose!

The day I broke the bone in my left butt-cheek (don't laugh)
I needed crutches and diapers for like 8 weeks ....
looking back on it ... it's kinda funny ... it's ok to laugh now

when my precious precious father died in front of me, suddenly, unexpectedly, at 65.
he seemed to know it was coming and he made that last day absolutely perfect - except for the ending...

when i nearly fell off the escalator of a 6th storey mall, i was on the 5th storey going up to the top when this little b@st@rd push me and i nearly fall, of course i punish that stupid kid
