I would much rather see a split congress - some checks and balances keep the democracy strong. But I am confident the Democratic Party, which I love dearly, will find a new and novel way to screw up. Or the GOP will out dirty them, as we all know they can.
But in general, I prefer to have the power split. The President still maintains enormous power.

If its a Democratic congress, it will be business as usual, except the Prez won't have his YES men (and women) sitting in those seats. It would probably be a good thing right now to shake his power a bit...don't you think?

If they stay in office, any chance to bring America back to a moral country will be lost. We need to keep voting out incumbents until we get a congress that will work for legal Americans. If we keep letting them get away with this corrupt government on both sides, then it doesn't make sense to even vote.
