The biggest blizzard I can remember in this state was the Blizzard of '97. It dropped snow faster than any storm in my lifetime. It completely shut down the state. The highways and interstates were closed. Even local roads in town were closed. The drifts were so deep that they buried my car up over the hood. Many places even lost power. It was a wicked storm. And that storm also hit in mid-October.

The last one I can remember was in 2002 or 2003. It was so bad in Denver that the city was literally shut down for 2 days. I cant remember how many feet we did get but I do remember every1 in my neighbourhood walking everywhere cause we could not move our cars. It was really heavy snow. It was awsome.
