How many years can a relationship between California and Sweden last, without moving together and not much money to fly? It will take about 3 years before my son may be economically self independent if I leave Sweden for longer times. Anyone with similar experiences?

I can relate to your ? I've been hanging on barely to the hopes that my long distance relationship will survive the distance (Ontario Canada & Phoenix Arizona)...but I trust that we'll be together some day as long as we talk and email and IM frequently and keep our communciation open. If we both want the same thing...it's going to happen...hang in there and never let go of your dreams!

Wish each other on special days like New year / festival / birth day . Write long letter once a while , sharing up and down / success / achievement etc can keep you all together , not physically but spiritually .
