Or should you merely claim what is left of it, learn from the past but not dwell on it, and simply move on beyond the lingering pain – hammering out a brand new future, in the process, that wasn’t otherwise used to be? ... Have I essentially answered my own question here, or do you have a different point of view to offer altogether? Serious answers only please. Thank You!

P.S. And NO, I am NOT talking about my own life here, btw.

MY DEAR FRIEND (i.e. EVERYONE WHO ANSWERED THE QUESTION): I really do NOT like to put questions up for vote, but this time EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR ANSWERS were truly wonderful and deserving of being awarded the BA. … In doing so, you have left me with no choice but to let you guys decide the fate of this one. THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION - as far as I am concerned the BA goes to ALL of you.

Well, every dream get hollowed out sometimes, that's just reality checking up. I'd say you answered your question quite well. Life's just a constant battle between idealism and realism. Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you are lucky, just try to make the best of it.

You'll need to fill that life with things, even mundane things,or it will be staring off into space again. I admire your empathy for your fellow man.......it's good to see that human trait is alive and well!!!GET DOWN........LATER
