Torchwood was brilliant....I really really think John BArrowman is a hottie, in an all-american hero kinda way! I saw him on the celebrity Ice Skating show, and hes such a genuine nice guy too! Lookingforward to more Torchwood, I read an interview with John Barrowman, he said its a bi-sexual show and everyone has sex with each other, including aliens!!

K9 is the subsequent derivative sequence. basically this time it is going to likely be a caricature no longer stay action. Who mania is achieving epic proportions now. i'm so so happy that Sarah Jane finally have been given to do her derivative. bear in recommendations of direction her pilot episode for k9 and corporation returned in the 70s that did no longer flow into production. She's had a protracted await her turn. nicely achieved. particular Martha is going into Torchwood for 0.5 a season. The runaway bride chick will sit down in for her in Dr Who till she returns. it could make Torchwood exciting. with a bit of luck they get far flung from the single tracked intercourse craze the 1st season seems to love.

I love it!! Russell T Davies is a Genius!!!! (Giz a part Russell, I have just been in Under Milk Wood, I can totally do the Welsh accent- LOL!!!) I don't fancy John Barrowman like your good self, Captain Jack is a great character but David Tennant is my type!!!

Very enjoyable, I can see completely why they have spun-off from Doctor Who. This way they can do things a bit more risque and generally "out there". Part Doctor Who, part Buffy, part MIB, it was all in there. Some of the adult parts were a little gratuitous and didn't fit in completely with the direction and feel, but it's early days and it's a minor point considering how well the episodes have been written so far.
I look forward to the next one!

I was a little disappointed with the opener. The plot was shallow and derivative (Species, anyone?), the glamorous, MIB-style torchwood of Dr Who has become four geeks in a cellar in Cardiff! The 'adult content' seems completely gratuitous, just serving to flag it up as 'not a kids program'.
But it does have Captain Jack. (Although why is he called captain and still wearing his RAF coat? There is no such rank in the RAF!)
I'll stick with it, to see if it gets any better.

I though it was excellent, much more grown up than Dr Who but I disagree about John looking better than David Tennant, I'll still watch Dr Who just for David Tennant, but Torchwood is definately for the action. Excellent, well done to Russell Davies

Hey, I read your question and all of the positive responses and had to check out the show for myself. I found someone who uploaded 2 episodes and I just watched the first. As soon as I hit 'submit' on this answer I'll watch the other. I'm just an insomniac in the US who loves British TV! Thanks for the intro to a cool new show.

Very enjoyable, the perfect escapism for an hour. Well written, well acted, equally funny and dramatic. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
