The negative is not even shown on TV, please, when was the last time, or the first time for that matter that you have seen US soldiers being shot, the hundreds and hundered of tortured decapitated victims of this war, the people that barely survived being blown to pieces. And this happens every day, yet the government says it is unpatriotic for the media to show it. Ignorance is bliss so it's easier to support a war when you not see the faces of those in the body bags...
A few vaccinations and text books are not enough to balance the tragedy there. NOt even the "righ to vote". What good is it if you are too afraid to leave your house to go vote because you know chances are you will be kidnapped, decapitated or blown up to pieces??? I would not wnat to live under Hussain, but certainly not under the present circumstances in Iraq either. It was hell before and it is hell now with a vaccination, a book and a right to vote. Lovely.
And its good that they are training Iraqi police, they need it! TODAY 24 IRAQI POLICEMEN WERE KILLED AT ONCE!!
No, but, of course things there are peachy, LOL
You can give me all the thumbs down you want, IT WILL NOT CHANGE REALITY!
But by all means continue living in fantasy land if it makes you feel less guilty.

I didn't even know most of that stuff, and I try to stay informed from those who are there. I knew about the vaccinations and schools being rebuilt (the guys from our post have been active in that), and the police force being trained (our guys have trained many), but the rest of that...WOW!
Yes, we should see more of that! The people need to know that there ARE positive things happening in Iraq.

Remember, to the news people, if it bleeds it leads. Even those that support the troops and the war will turn on the blood and gore before the good news.

That is pure propaganda. You think it's okay if 10,000 kids get vaccinated while 1 kid gets his arms and legs blown off. That video wants you to ignore the suffering of a people at war and make believe Iraq is just another River City USA.

That is really cool and it opened my eyes a lot. I live in NZ and all we ever hear are the bad things. American casualties, Bush screwing up again. Thank you very much for sharing.
