I think I have it right,
Those great green glops of
Greemy gimey gohper guts
Chopped up chicken feet
Marinated monkey meat
and I forgot my spoon!
Could you tell me if I have the lyrics right? Some people are telling me that it is "little bitty birdie feet" instead of "chopped up chicken feet" and this has been eating at me!

the way we sang it was;
great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher meat
itty bitty birdie feet
mutilated monkey meat etc...
Different kids, different regions, different words no worries yours was right for you when you were a kid. Most of these songs were never written down, and are very old, and like spoken stories each generation changes it a bit.

I loved that song...according to a Wiki article (Dang, that site has everything)...these are the "traditional" lyrics:
Great green gobs of greasy, grimy gopher guts,
Mutilated monkey meat
Itty-bitty birdies' feet.
Great green gobs of greasy, grimy gopher guts,
And I forgot my spoon!
Oh, I forgot my spoon.
Oh, I forgot my spoon.
However...there are several other versions as well...have a look:
