my friend who is not a friend cannot sing... i need 2 tell him this, how can i??

Lots of people can't sing, I would ask WHY do you need to tell him this? Do you want to hurt his feelings? Embarass him? Humiliate him in public?
Do you need to throw him out of a singing group? That's different. You don't tell him he can't sing, you tell him his voice is too unique to fit in with the rest of the singers and produce the sound you are looking for. Who knows, you may be wrong about his singing and it is your judgement that is full of BS.

if it's not hurting other people and he's just having a laugh with himself and his mates, than there shouldn't be a reason to tell him, jsut play along. but if he really thinks he's a good singer and he's going to carioke's (something like that) and singing because he think he's sharing his 'gift' with the other people than you'd better tell him. buh yeh if it's just for fun play along, got 2 mates that sing and i just sing along, it's really funny cause we can't sing rofl.
