My dad claims to have been married to Merles' ex wife - called her Dodi. I spoke with this woman but never asked her if my dad was telling the truth. Don't know why I didn't ask!!! Obviously, he has a habit of not giving correct information and I am just curious. He said she died (probably back in about 1995) in Bakersfield, CA. They owned a house together and he sold it.
