I would go back in time, and not make that movie, so I wouldn't ask this question. But I don't really what I could do if someone chase me with a chainsaw.Probably I would die from stroke.In both cases

well i saw the second chainsaw masacer and if i was the dark haired girl who was thrown out the car after the accident, i would have stayed down till teh tow truck guy came then ran like hell till i was safe. no going back. they dead already lol. sad but one of us had to survive and tell the story.

In a chainsaw massacre thing, I would have to run and leave the others behind. It sounds selfish, but there really isn't anything you can do for them alone. you have better luck bringing the authorities.
In a Saw situation, I would probably just cry. He really doesn't leave any options for survival, not unless he wants you to survive. It is a sick and twisted movie, but I love it.

RUN! Nobody will catch me on foot unless they are a track star, especially when they are running with a 15 lb chainsaw in their hands. Now for Saw, I wouldn't even go to a place that looked like that, so that wouldn't be a problem.

A chain saw requires that the chain slack be adjusted out after it expands from friction heat, therefore the chances are it is slack, and a towel or rag will jam it up, at least it's a chance to give time to fight or flight.
