The way things are going I think humans will eventually destroy themselves and each other, whether we're specifically on this planet to do that or not.
I personally think it's in our nature to destroy ourselves and this planet.
In the modern age people have a different attitude, it's almost as if we've stopped caring because we know the inevitable will happen sooner or later.

Oh no, we are here to eat a double quarter pounder with cheese, a super size coke and french fries, and we are to get dressed in our hollister clothes, driving our nice cadillac's..and going out to the bars with our buddies..then we work hard and make money and save up for retirement..the worst is not to kill each other..the worst aspect of being a human in this life in this day in age is ARE TAXES! SPEEDING TICKETS! SLOW DRIVERS! RACISTS! AND STUPID MANAGERS!

Your conscious, which curbs your freedom and makes
you feel guilty when, sometimes, you are not. Your
knowledge that you are vulnerable and not eternal.
Faith heals and comforts but does not answer all your
questions. The more conscious you may be, the more
you are aware of your weaknesses and, for some, this
is self punishment that is difficult to deal with. I feel free,
but from many answers I have read, many suffer and I
am unable to help. From others who are jokers, I feel
that they are turning their backs to reality. Cheers to all,
Iain

The worst is knowing that each one of us is going to die in a very short time compared to the longevity of earth.

The lifestyle we live in. Everything seems too rushed, we're overly taxed and things don't seem to be going onwards and upwards.
