What should I do?

2006-10-27 00:16:03 · 5 answers · asked by Anonymous in Games & Recreation Video & Online Games

Should the files that I have on my computer cause an effect?

My files use up 21GB on a 68.5GB drive and I have 19.1GB left. I think the rest is used by the programs that I have installed.

I'm a video producer, so I have alot of videos.

I have that game, AND LOVE IT

the reasons it is slow are either:
your computer has hardly any RAM (prefibably about 1gb)

or you have a crappy video card (decent ones have gone quite cheep now, get any powered by navida)

hope i was a help (and that i get the ten points, lol)

Maybe there is something wrong with the game. You could always return it to the store and buy a new one. Or if it is not the game, and the computer, then you should get it checked out by a technician or something. Other than the 2 answers i've given, i don't think there might be anything else wrong. Hope this is helpful :)

Make sure you have the "preferred" hardware that the game suggests - the "minimum" is just the bare essentials to make the game run but it won't run pretty. I'd get a new video card & more RAM at the minimum. Otherwise turn all the graphics settings way down.

It's probably your video card or memory. By modern comparison, that game isn't too demanding, so a modest upgrade should set you right.
