It sounds good using those words but change the words to other words that mean the same thing and it does not sound right. Look as this sentence.

I think self is the equivalent of personality, nature, character, and identity. ∟

Sounds good. Seems to me, also, what I perceive as being separate form me is yet still an awareness taking place in my mind. That otherness is me? I don't know. Just playing.
