I have read several responses to a divorce question today, and it seems the MAJORITY (NOT ALL), of the women seem to think its ok to try and take everything from a guy, as well as his kids.
Honestly, my ex could have had everything I owned (AND IM THE ONLY 1 THAT WORKED< EVER) if she would have just let me keep my sons atleast 1/2 the time !!!
SHE abandoned US, then came back 1.5 yrs later, and the court INSTANTLY gave them back to her..........
WTF ????

OK, I did ask "why" and the judge told me that she has the right to take them back anytime she wants to, unless she is proven "unfit" which would be impossible to prove, and I wouldnt want my sons to ever think their mother to be "unfit"

I absolutely don't agree with that!! And I am a mom. I think that most of the time (not all the time) it tends to be the man who wants out and women use to be "fragile" so they got the stuff. But now days things are different. I think they need to look into who wants out of the marriage and go from there. Men get shat on in a divorce too much of the time. I feel for you. I would never want to lose my son.

I agree with you whole heartedly. The courts do not take the time to find out who is the parent that is better off for the children. They automatically put the kids with their mothers. The only thing that seems to speak in this country is money. I am saving money at this very moment to get custody of my son who wants to live with me because his mom doesn't give a crap about him. Our society has become to hard on us guys. We work and slave to be as good as parents as we can be and we still miss out on what is owed to us. I am a patriot and i believe that our system is the best, but there needs to be changes in the law when it comes to our children. I agree with you, my ex can have everything I own, but my son's well being is the most important. Seems to me they are only interested in money. Not all women but a lot of them. Good luck!

Your attorney sucks, that's for sure. Usually, after an abandonment situation like this custody is not automatic like it was in your case. As far as why they take everything??: the ones that do are the worst type of person (as you well know). Consider yourself blessed to be rid of her regardless of what she took. Just be the Dad your boys need, they'll end coming to you later on because of her issues. She left them once, she'll do it again. Just make sure you're always there for them and ready to take them back. Watch out for any signs that the boys are in trouble and/or seeing things they shouldn't - do this without going through the children, just observe. Good luck, things will get better.

Listen Dude' You want to know why it's this way? It's this way because the good guys have to pay for what the bad guys do. You see' There are so many men that run from there responsibility that the courts had to make it hard on everybody. That is why when i see a man that will not take care of his i want to beat the crap out of him because it is sorry a-s-s holes like that that makes it hard on all of us

The court decides on the merits presented whether who between the two of you could take care the kids more responsibly. It has decided in her favor, why don't you ask the court why? So you will not be left in the dark,.,then do something about , in order to get your kids back.

first of all, not all women are like that. when I divorced my ex. I gave him back everything that was his to begin with, I didnt want his stuff or his memories. but when there are children involoved and the woman ends up with the kids. then usually the end up with everything becuase of those kids. its for them not so much for her persoanlly. but any personal belongings that were yours before the relationship I think you should be entitled to.
there are alot of greedy people out there that do take men for granted. they are the money hungry materilistc and possessions are all that matter..
but love is more then all that combined, if found. and one shouldnt have to be concerned with material things in life.

i know it not fair but they got it to where the mother got more rights to the child then the father i just take her back to court and fight for your rights
and no not all women want everything out of the marriage

familiar story. she got the goldmine and i got the shaft is a popular song from the 70's. lots of truth to that. unfit mothers are those who are so addicted to drugs they have no idea who they are and women in mental institutions. not much else is a valid complaint. i understand your situation. i have been there and done that.

Yes. Some boastful, domineering Godless "Christian" guys have perverted the phrase "publish" within the Bible. The Bible tells husbands to publish to their husbands, too. Husbands are to like their better halves as Christ adored the church and died alternatively for the church. God by no means stated husbands have been to be a father determine to their better halves. They are to be same companions striking the welfare of one another because the maximum precedence. They are to serve God and support each and every different and use their God given skills for Him and for each and every different and their households. yes i know it always seems like the men are getting screwed in the divorce however my divorce left me a female with no house , he has it , no car he has it, no money he took it and spent it on a holiday to europe,i do have custody of the kids who see their dad whenever they want to, however he doesnt want to see them much cause we are reduced to living in a trailer park with no transport and not much money and me working 2 jobs....yep us women just take it all dont we???
