i wouldnt remarry him.
i have felt the way he does and said the same thing before. he's saying you have been in his life for so long that he cares about you, but he could live without you.
IN love means you have marital feelings for someone, you want to make them happy and want to spend the rest of your life with them.
basically, he cares about you but you arent the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
sorry.

Loving someone is what you have for your kids and your cat -
You accept their faults and love them just because - up to a point
In love is what happens when you ignore their faults and fool
yourself into thinking they are perfect.
Not in love is when it wears off and you find reality
Sex , love and marriage are three separate things - dont get
them confused. Love can improve sex and marriage, but doesnt really need
to be am ingredient........basic needs.
Love is what I said above. I can love my cat, but dont have to
have sex with it or get married to it. Everybody knows that if
they want others to love them, then they have to work at being
loveable instead of just demanding that somebody else love
them
Marriage is about money...traditionally a limited protection for
women and children, but nothing is iron clad. People get married
because they want to get married and then pick the best available partner that they can find or that will accept them.
Later, after their partners faults that they were not aware of -
or had been ignored
pop up and they find somebody else that they think is more in
tune with them, they become disatisfied.

"I love you" is an action word. If one loves another, they will do pretty much anything for them, as long as it does not hurt either person. Being "in love" is a chemistry thing that needs to be rekindled regularly.
Sounds like he is in a mid-life crisis. Is he?
Well, wanting to remarry you is a good thing, I think.
Talk this out with him. Sounds like you are both confused.

That is a BS line which means little or nothing.
This is code for, I still care but not really.
What a crock.
Love is love. That he would think there is a difference just shows he's shallow.

loving someone comes after accepting all aspects of ur lover- good or bad. so one should say " i love you" only wen she/he knows one's lover in and out. s wen ur hubby tells you that he loves you he's actually trying to say that even though u r not perfect( well no one is perfect an that includes him!!) i accept and love you with all my heart. it means you ARE perhaps very much perfect for him. He says he's not in love with u coz wen he fell for u you seemed to be perfect. that's coz he didn't know you thru n thru. plus...u can fall in or out of love but when u love someone..that's forever!!

just loving someone means that you care about them and you care how they feel and what happens to them.
being in love with someone means that you would die for them, and you can't picture life without them.
