Both, at the same time. That makes it really tough to walk. Doctors don't even splint the toes. They just tell you to stay off it and elevate it. That didn't help when I was in high school and was athletic. Very painful!

No, thanl G-d!! My brother has though. He did after he tried to kick the water from a wave coming on the beach and instead kicked straight into the ground! OUCH!

No, luckily not.
Although I had my ankle ligaments torn when someone late-tackled me playing rugby. That really sucked.

Yes, and I ended up with a cast up to my knee for 3 months. It sucked big time.

my mum did playing netball she had to get broken again as she took to long to get it sorted but said the pain now is worse then before
