It's great. All Sunday morning on LivingTV they play re-runs of it. And you can see the house in Universal Studios Florida.

I loved it! I think every girl has 4 friends or acquaintances that they can imagine becoming like Dorothy, Rose, Blanche or Sophia!!!! I liked Blanche the ageing slapper she had some great lines!!! The interaction between Dorothy (Bea Arthur) and her Mom Sophia (Estelle Getty) was hysterical and poor old Rose was a sweetie pie but she didn't have a clue, ever!!!!

The casting was superb! The show also broke into a new era, 4 older, classy women meshing their lives, probs, love life with each other. It appealed to a wide range age group. It may have been hokey at times, but it was easy to get into each of the characters.

Loved it! Possibly the best American show of its era on BritishTV - though I must have been very be naive since I didn't spot any 'gay' connotations! To me, all the female characters, though living together (presumably in order to reduce outgoings), seemed hell bent on seducing/dating any eligible male within reach. Obviously there were hidden aspects which were not picked up by me. Mind you, I wasn't actually looking for them - I simply wanted to be entertained.

I love that show! I like Sophia the best.
And Dorothy, seems like shes the only sane one in a house full of nuts!
I have a teenage son who loves it too. But he won't admit it to anyone but me.

I love the show. Sophia was the best. She was always up to something. I hope I have that sense of humor when I am that age

Cheese cake and a short- lived appearance from Alexie Sayle, wonder what his Bloomsbury friends think of that.
