Why hasn't there been any Pontiacs in NASCAR since 2003?

General Motors (Pontiac,Buick,Oldsmobile) were pulled out to focus resources on their Chevy .
This was the same as with Ford ( Mercury and Lincoln).

GM only wanted one of their brands in NASCAR, so they stuck with the better and more popular car Chevy.
