Like if the opponent lowers your defense, does it stay like that(stay reduced) even after the battle? Or do the stats come back after the battle subsides? STATS are like ATTACK, DEFENSE, SPECIAL ATTACK / DEFENSE AND HP. Thanks

Oh no, do not worry about that. (Or get your hopes up, whichever) Once you are out of battle, Or even revive a fainted Pokemon, their stats will be just what they were before battle

They just reduce or increase while in the battle. After that, they'll be back to normal.

no regrettably till you you have it on pc you wont be waiting to get a spell that permenently will boost your skills. yet once you have it on pc you need to use a console command to boost your skills
