A "secondary bow" is caused by the light rays reflecting inside the rain drops a second time. In theory you could se s thrid rainbow, but in reality each further rainbow is fainter than the last (as some light gets out to form the previous rainbow, leaving less for the next). The thrid rainbow is too faint to see.
See the reference for a more detailed explanation and a photo of a primary and secondary rainbow.
One point I'd like to stress is that it is not a reflection of the first rainbow. There is a rare rainbow called a reflection bow caused by a false sun, which is a reflection of the sunn off a lake or other large calm water surface.

Double rainbows are fairly common in England. The first is large and bright. The second paler and beneath and within the main rainbow. An interesting phenomena is that the light under a rainbow is lighter than that above. In the case of a double rainbow the light above the first rainbow is darker. Between the rainbows a fair bit lighter and under the second brighter again.

Yes! In England, we get a lot of rain and the double rainbow is often seen. The order of colours in the secondary rainbow is the reverse of those in the primary rainbow, i.e. red at the bottom and violet at the top. The maths is quite tedious, so I won't attempt to explain why.

Sometimes you'll get a double rainbow (two in a line. They will not be seperate rainbows but I think the second one will be a reflection of the first or something) with the second one fainter. The second one will also have the colours the other way up from the first one.

Yes it is possible. A rainbow happens when light passing through millions and millions of raindrops is diffracted separating the colors like a glass prism. But there are two paths for the light to pass through the raindrops and you see two rainbows if the angle between the sun, raindrops and you is correct to reflect the light to you from both paths.

I just finished reading all the other answers and most of them just doesn't make any sense to me for this reason for starters...A rainbow is created when rain is falling down through sun rays. As little strips of rays make it through the dark clouds and streaks down wards to earth, the rays are shinning on the rain drops, illuminating the drops and makes a spectrum of colors. If you have several openings of clouds and shinning rays of sun, your going to have multiple rainbows. I have seen and pointed out to other people saying "hey! three rainbows" why?? because everyone loves a rainbow! and if you find that pot of gold at the end of any rainbow, please remember me for answering this question for you LOL as far as those little leapercons.....your on your own!! have fun and top of the morning to you! dhwilson58 :)

properly to the ideal of my expertise, one reason is that if some has cheated to rank up quickly, then Ubisoft recognizes that and resets all your ranks! you nevertheless shop your achievements yet you may might desire to initiate over from scratch on your ranks! yet one greater reason is that in case you ever turn your equipment off jointly as its loading, that still will wreck a number of your stored documents. As you recognize the sport saves jointly as on the comparable time loading image documents!
