Ask doctor for test! It's the only way to truly know!!

Okay, first and foremost...STOP HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX! You could die....what is it with people....YOU COULD GET A DISEASE AND DIE...or bring some poor baby into the world when you're a baby yourself.....or catch something that will make you infertile...seriously....I'm not judging or being mean, but these are the facts and I'm tired of people who don't get that.

Now, assuming you have not contracted anything from your "unprotected sex like a rabbit." I doubt at 16 you are infertile. Your uncle's low sperm count would not be passed on to you.

Regular periods do not mean you are fertile, it means you aren't getting pregnant and if you're on the pill, they will be regular....BUT USE A CONDOM..you could still catch something...or better yet say "Hey! I'm 16...maybe I don't want to be all used up by the time I'm 21!"

I have endometriosis so I was always worried about being infertile, from the time I was your age. My son was a first try baby...my daughter....little bugger....took 2 years and a fertility doctor....so you can be infertile for a time.

There really is no way to know until it is time to try, but your uncle's issues have no weight here. I doubt that you are, but finish school, go to college or get a trade, get married to a nice, stable man, and then try.....I bet you'll be fine.

With all that unprotected sex, you should get tested for STDs though!

You are most likely fertile. An infertile uncle really says nothing since male and female reproductive systems are very different. Also, your partner(s) could have had fertility issues.

However, it is perfectly possible to catch something that would make you infertile, or that would make it impossible for you to safely carry a child in the future. Have you been tested for all of the STDs? If not, get tested right away.

Also, if having children in the future is important to you, I really recommend not risking your future fertility by having unprotected sex now. Further, if you are uncomfortable typing the word "***," you may want to seriously think about how comfortable you are with the sexual activity you are engaged in now.

If you feel tempted to try to have a child at your age, try to take a step back and put that energy into researching pregnancy and parenting to be knowledgeable enough to be the best parent you can be in the future. Try to pinpoint issues you have (we all have some ;-) ) that may impact your parenting and start working on them. Concentrate on being educated so you can teach your children and provide for them, no matter what surprises life throws at you. As you will hopefully find out a few years from now, you can never be too prepared for parenthood.

I was told at your age I couldn't have children [so I never worried about birth control, stupid me back then] I had tons of sex before I and my hubby had him but after being married for only 3 months guess what we found out and have a great son who is now 16 who I gave birth to, so don't always trust things judged at such a young age [even by doc's] when the body isn't fully developed it is near immpossible to tell unless there are huge signs like no ovaries or stuff like that. You also can't fully go by family history either as there are other things that could have happened or they could have been exposed to that you were not so please do not worry right now about it, maybe it was the boyfriends problem but if not just be happy for now it didn't happen and stay safe until you are totally ready for it. I wish you well and have a great full life.

Actually, there are no tests to positively determine if you are infertile (for a woman). Infertility is not generic (lol). I was like you are and had unprotected sex as a teen and never got pregnant and no STDs either. I guess on both points I can consider myself blessed.

I was told for 20 years that I was infertile...My son is now 16 which proves that I wasn't. I'm glad you didn't get pregnant at 16, stay on the pill!

i don't think you are infertile but that doesn't mean you should take chances by not protecting yourself. I glad to hear you are on the pill now; it's better safe than sorry. Even if you've had unprotected sex in the past and nothing happened doesn't mean you don't have a chance to get pregnant in the future. It only takes the right time at the right moment. BE CAREFUL!!!

If your uncle is infertile then its not 100% to go to you. Well you may be pregnant and if you dont want to born a baby then contact a doctor. From next time be sure to use condoms while having sex
