Ring some advertising agencies and ask them to send you one of their brochures or surf the net for agencies maybe you could go to an agency and speak to someone. Look in newspapers and magazines they are always trying to sell you something, think of adverts or posters you have seen that you like, think why you like them. Pretend you are going to sell a product and do an advertising campaign you can contact newspapers and magazines for media packs these will contain lots of info and how much it will cost to advertise in there mag or paper. Get a job in a shoe shop perhaps. Not only will you get hands on experience, you might also get a discount as well as a means of keeping your finances under control. What a wonderful opportunity this assignment has provided you with.

umm maybe first you could do a product analysis. so look at the product from every angle, how it is used, who uses it, what could go wrong etc, then talk about its strengths and weaknesses and why it should be sold
