Are Kuwaitis really full of themselves?

I've been told many times that we are considered rude people who look down upon others and that we are full of ourselves. It has become a stereotype of us being that way. I hate stereotypes and generalizations but unfortunately that applies to the majority of us in Kuwait. What exactly caused that to happen?

Look at your government man, I don't like stereotypes either but that comes from ignorance and might think you're part of the taliban or soemthing..... can u blame us?
