I have an actual answer for you, unlike most people on here! I did this in Psychology at uni, it's do with the various parts of the brain. The bit that deals with parallel parking is the visual-spatial sketchpad-which helps you with shapes, whats around you etc etc. Men are much better at manipulating the visual sketchpad-i.e picturing movements and what will happen when something moves etc. This is why, usually, it takes women a few hours extra of lessons to pass the driving test-and typically men are better at other things involving the visual spatial sketchpad such as playing pool. Before women get on my case about this-it's been heavily suggested with many psychological studies-and women are better at things involving other areas of the brain-e.g. language skills.

That's just being stereotypical. There are plenty of women that can succesfully parallel park, and drive in reverse. I actually hold a TPXS Class License (All CDL Endorsements.. I'm qualified to drive just about anything), so please, don't be so quick to judge female drivers!

Also, you know.. you don't HAVE to pass the parallel parking or reverse driving portion of the test to get your class A driver license. As long as you earn high marks everywhere else (I believe only a 75 is required to pass?), they will give you a license.

In the small town I grew up, parallel parking was part of the road test. But I strategically went to take my test at the earliest time possible. There was only one place (small downtown), where cars parallel parked. Since it was early enough before the typical business day, there was no opportunity to parallel park. The guy just checked off the box. I knew how to do it, but it was simpler to avoid it.

I can reverse very well. I can also parallel park. I have to parallel park in order to park outside my house. Otherwise I would have to park my car right up the street and walk and I don't want to be doing that!!! It means I have to get up slightly earlier in the morning to allow time to walk to my car so I can get work on time!! Lol.

Women drivers can both parallel park and reverse as they have to do one of these to pass the test.
It has also been proven that car insurance for women is cheaper as they are involved in less accidents.

Why do men chase women and drive too fast? Why do men fart and burp all the time? Why do men drink too much and get into fights? Not all men do this, so it stands to reason that not all women are bad drivers. I personally am an expert at reverse parking.

They can, very well. I have been driving for 25 years. When younger my parallel parking was spot on. With a career of parking on the drive/in car parks, my parallel parking is now cr*p. No gender stereotypes please.
