In most case, yes, it is possible. Whether it is a metal bracelet or a leather strap, the band is usually held in by a spring bar (a stainless steel bar with a spring in the middle...good name for it!). Typically it is best to have a watchmaker or jeweler put these on. Usually if you purchase a band from someone they will install it for free. I know that one watch band manufacturer, Hadley Roma, makes a leather band that can be changed without any tools. You can have 10 different color bands for the same watch, and match them to whatever outfit/mood you have at that point. I hope this helps!

Yes, the strap is usually connected on the sides with a very tiny screw.

Hmmm, that's easy for YOU to say ... Here's another: Mr. See owned a saw. And Mr. Soar owned a seesaw. Now See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw Before Soar saw See, Which made Soar sore. Had Soar seen See's saw Before See sawed Soar's seesaw, See's saw would not have sawed Soar's seesaw. So See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw. But it was sad to see Soar so sore Just because See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw! If that's too long for you, try this: I slit a sheet, a sheet I slit Upon a slitted sheet I sit
