water ofcourse can be made by fusion of hydrogen and oxygen but the reaction needs drastic reaction conditions that is high temperatutre and pressure so the methods till date are not cost effective.and probably in future when there will be scarcity of natural water then these people will make water in the lab and will sell it at high prices which even middle class (leave the people belo poverty line) won't afford to purchase. so i advise you -either find out some cheaper method for synthesis of water or SAVE WATER.PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

It is done every day by almost everyone on the planet. Every time you burn something you are creating water. THe hydrogen in organic substances that you burn reacts with the oxygen in the air to form water in the vapor form. Every time you drive a car, heat your house, or cook with gas you are making water from hydrogen and oxygen.

1. Gaseous oxygen is dissolved in water, but it is unbreathable for humans in this aqueous form. 2. The oxygen in water is bound to two hydrogens, we lack the neccessary organs and enzymes to supply the energy required to break these bonds. The oxygen also needs to bind with another oxygen to form a gaseous molecule. 3. Humans have lungs, lungs are adapted to utilise atmospheric oxygen. We could breathe underwater if we had something like gills, which will allow us to remove dissolved oxygen from the water like fish. 4. The pressure of water will prevent our lungs from working properly underwater, hence the saturation of oxygen in the blood will be lower and asphyxiation will quickly set in.

The two main byproducts of your lungs and cars engine are CO2 from the carbon you combine with oxygen and water from the hydrogen you combine with oxygen.

*Blinks in confusion*

When pure oxygen is mixed with pure hydrogen, the outer valence electrons are shared, and form water which is chemically stable.

It can and does, that's how water is made! But nature can do it better than a lab.

Obviously it can. That's how water is made.
