flash & quicktime already downloaded, but 'puter says it's not. any ideas?

Every time I got to a page that tells me I need Flash I download it again, but it doesn't seem to work. On my list of addons it says it's there and enabled. Now I'm having the same problem with Quicktime, it's on my computer but not being recognized. Most recently I tried to watch a video on Yahoo and can't because it says neither are on my computer. Thanks for any help.

Uninstall both, reboot and reinstall.

Worked for me!
