Water is a by-product of an internal combustion engine, it's natural for water to beproduced. Your problem is that the muffler isn't getting hot enough to steam the water out, which could shorten the life of the muffler. Several years ago, when I had a new muffler put on, the mech put a tiny hole on the bottom lip of the muffler for any water to drain out when the the car wasn't running. That muffler lasted 8 years, prior to that, it was changed out every 2.

A car actually produces about as much water as the fuel the engine burns. The engine is sucking in humid air along with the fuel and the fuel exhaust and water vapor go out the tailpipe. You also get a certain amount of water in the oil but it is diminished as the engine warms up. That is one reason that little short trips are so hard on the engine. They don't get warm enough to expel moisture through the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve.

condensation
if you had a cracked head or block, it would have white smoke, some cars just accumulate more condensation than others, I understand where your coming from and if you want to put you mind at ease take to the shop that installed the engine and report it, or if you installed it yourself, report it to the place you bought it.
