Well sensibly I should answer Nuclear Weapons, but since it's already been said so many times....
I'm going with:
-"Apparatus for smoking underwater while SCUBA diving." - They tell you that you shouldn't be a smoker if you want to SCUBA dive, thgen they go and invent something so you don't even have to go without a ciggie while you're diving!!
What's that all about!!?? Talk about terrible inventions!
(I'm a SCUBA diver and a smoker, but I'll never be doing both at once!)
