But seriously, find yourself a needle and some cotton which can be found in most shops. Try to get the cotton to be the same colour and thread the needle. There are likely to be 4 holes in the button, thread the needle thorugh each of the holes in turn and that should do the trick.

Get some cotton that is the same colour as your shirt and sew it in and out of the holes in the button and then tie a know in the end when your done, cut off the extra thread and thats about it!
Very simple really.
