Several men have been to the deepest part of the ocean, the Marianas trench north of New Guinea at 35,798 feet.
The deepest underground is a gold mine in South Africa that goes 12,000 feet down.

The Challenger Deep in the Marianas Trench 200 miles from Guam is the deepest part of the ocean. A bathyscaph went into it in 1960. It is 11,100 meters beneath the surface of the sea. That is about six miles. Someone said the Titanic is 20 miles= 25,000 meters deep. No ocean is that deep. A Rolex "Bathyscaph" watch was on the bathyscaph. Only two other watches can dive that deeply: Bell & Ross "Hydro Challenger" and Kienzle "The Deepest".

Dive to the Titantic was very deep but they went in a special mini submarine but it wasn't 20 miles deep...No such Ocean on Earth is that deep...Mariannas Trench is 36,000+ feet making it approximately 7+ miles deep...soooo..
Cant say about the underground...Jules Verne might know....he took the Nautilus

that depends on what gear you are wearing and using

the deeper you go, there is possibility of nitrogen accumulation in the body and you have to tackle high pressures also, not to mention predatory organisms and lack of light

the deepest known point in earth is the mariana trench in the mid-pacific-if i remember right, it is 11000 metres deep

deepest you say?? i suppose no individual can seek underwater that deep.. it's very dangerous.. there are many deadly kinds of fishes, sharks and living creatures there.. but i'll jus say he deepest trench.. is the Mariana trench..

don't know the exact distance but 3 guys went in a submarine to check out the titanic wreck and that was something like 20 miles below see level i think
