Lying is a strategy to bypass the hurdles invariably presented in the journey of truth. Lying is the wisdom of sparing the sharp pain of truth.
In all, lying is the art of living a life made difficult by the science of truthfulness.

What is lying? It's called politics.
Vote for my answer as best. If elected, I promise to use my ten points to fund universal health care for all, tax breaks for the middle class, and a really expensive highway project for your congressional district.
