All life came from water - the whole earth was covered by water in the olden days!!

Philosophically speaking, one can not know one's origin for sure, since existence starts after origin.

We come from the mating of a male with a female. Whether you want to call men & women different species, that's up to you. (Though I sometimes wonder myself....)

mammal came from mammal-reptile
mammal-reptile (masrupials ?) came from reptiles
reptile came from fish
fish came of some sea organism
sea organism came from some amoebas
those came from etc...
