Was this the most wholesome show ever?

I think the only reason I watch the show was because back in the of only four challens it was that or sport news or some thing churchy on the other challens. Still you do have the think about the fact I still sat there and watched it I really dont know why I did get up do some thing better instead.

In the late 70's I was a single woman that had a very fast passed social life. But I always stayed home on Monday night to watch Little House on the Prairie. Friends knew that was my night to relax and stay home. I could recuperate from the weekend before.

It is right up there, but Highway To Heaven beats it hands down on the 'wholesome' front.

No. 'Highway to heaven' was. Syrupy vomit-inducing angel do gooder show. Both starred Michael Landon though. By all accounts he was a right git in real life.

Could be. I would have thought Touched by an Angel or Bonanza. Anything with Michael Landon.

Sounds great to me. we are doing previous formed giving, this year. My spouse canned and made jellies & preserves all summer time & fall. we are giving nutrition baskets from her kitchen for Christmas: eco-friendly Beans, Corn, Salsa, Pickles, Chow-Chow,blended vegetables, Applesauce, Apple Butter, Cherry preserves, grape jelly, peach marmelade,...and handmade rock candy!

It was 'wholesome'.... but I think 'The Waltons' beats it hands down!

The waltons was a bit better but i liked both.
